Claire & Richard
This stunning Wedding started on a very cold and frosty winter morning. We headed over to Swansea to catch up with a very excited bride to be and her massive entourage of bride’s maids! Dad was lost in the crowd and was struggling to find things to do to keep busy so he was sent out to get the pasties.
Claire and Richard met on the school bus in high school and twelve (yes twelve!) years later it was their big day. It wasn't an easy Wedding to organise, they had both moved to Bristol so that Richard could start a career ‘colouring in’ (The best man’s words, not ours.) and the Wedding of course was to be held in West Wales!
After a lovely festive ceremony at St Michael’s church in Swansea with Christmas trees and carol singers we moved on through fields of rushes and sand dunes to the spectacular reception venue at the Oxwich Bay Hotel in the Gower.
The hotel was very impressive with its cosy log fires and its rustic feel, it was decorated fantastically and felt very intimate and of course it was right next to the beach which made for some cracking photo opportunities. We even managed to get our quad copter in the air for some great aerial video. Claire did a fantastic job with planning, even remembering to bring her red wellingtons!
It’s always hard to get up on a cold winter morning but to celebrate with such a lovely couple on their big day makes it worthwhile. We wish both Claire and Richard all the best in the future as husband and wife and know they will enjoy watching their wedding video over again to relive this fantastic day for years to come.
